Hidden Fortress is a predictor that something wicked this way comes, a musical signpost warning listeners to keep their eyes sharp, a call for honest introspection in what may be the most sinister of times. Hailing from Vancouver, BC, but also with a Japanese base of operations, the duo of DJ/producer UsdNeedls and rapper nofutureface bring dark electronics to a West Coast mind state.
The razor sharp cuts and cinematic productions of UsdNeedls provide a heavy foundation for the introspective and often morbid lyrics of nofutureface. No longer content with sitting on the sidelines, nofutureface and UsdNeedls are sure to catch listeners off guard. Intense, and sometimes bleak, Hidden Fortress shine a light into the dark in order to expose the lies within, both those of others and themselves, pushing for social change. These are the tales told around fires and whispered in the halls. This is Fix City’s forgotten tales…

| I was in the process of putting all the free downloads up on Bandcamp but i started with the compilations because I wasn't sure how I was going to present the rest (ie - under the hand'solo site or differently) and then this new flurry of releases has come along... The rest will go up soon... |

Exciting news... This Saturday, August 14, 2010, Hidden Fortress are going to be on The Breakdown Show with DJ Gonzo, Royal-T and Ill Lyrics on Nanaimo, BC radio station CHLY 101.7.
The show runs from 9pm to midnight every Saturday on CHLY 101.7 fm, if you're in the area. You can also check it online at http://www.chly.ca and click "Listen Online Now" (button in the far right column - from there you can select the stream according to your internet speed).
